Ganges Indian Restaurant has been serving delicious, authentic Indian cuisine to residents of Beijing since 2005, and the success of our operations may be measured by our popularity among Indian nationals and other expatriates, overseas students and tourists, and Beijing natives, all of whom appreciate the fine taste of Indian food as well as the reasonable prices.
It's not just us saying that – our restaurant has received independent accolades and rave reviews from the Beijing press, notably the 'Editor's Choice' and the 'Outstanding Indian' awards from the 'That's Beijing' magazine Restaurant Awards.

In fact, we have so many choices on our menu that it is sometimes difficult to decide what to eat! This makes our special-value lunch buffet at the Lido, Chaoyang, and Sanlitun branches a tempting option, and an excellent way for you to try a little – or a lot! – of everything.

The popularity of our food and service has allowed us to expand from our first small restaurant in the university district of Haidian to a city-wide operation with branches in the Chaoyang CBD and the popular Lido area.
Our Haidian branch opened in December 2005, and quickly became known as a great place to satisfy a craving for curry. In December 2006 we opened a branch in the modern shopping mall 'The Place,' conveniently located in the Chaoyang CBD, and right in the middle of one of Beijing's main embassy and shopping areas – a short walk from the American, Indian, British, and New Zealand embassies, Ritan Park, and the Silk Market.
In April 2007 we opened a branch in the Hairun International Buildings on Jiang Tai Lu, in the area close to the Lido Hotel and the Airport Expressway. This location is quickly becoming very popular due to its proximity to international schools, the headquarters of many large international companies, and to the Lido Hotel.
Our newest branch opened in March 2009 at the Village in Sanlitun, an area of Beijing long considered a prime destination for entertainment and dining.
